    1. Thank you Mary Ann for the visit and sucha encouraging words. I actually don’t know Swiss language but I found this word ‘Babeta’ interesting to characterise foreign woman. Is that real meaning of Babeta ?

      1. It has no special meaning that I am aware of but sounds like a variance of a word for grandmother or Babi. The letter A at the end is a feminine ending. Switzerland had 3-4 official languages: German, French, Italian and an old Latin dialect. Swiss German is different from German spoken in Germany but can still be understood by native Germans. You can play around with the name and have many other meanings to. Happy writing to you. 🙂

        1. Thank you for such a brilliant informations. Just would like to let you know that when I finished reading ‘Eleven Minute’of Paulo Coelho and I came across Maria and her ambition and innocences. Having huge sympathy and empathy, I have created a plot for the different story around Switzerland, a Swiss girl, a clever foreign student and the university and gave a name of BABETA for the story. I really found interesting 🙂 I love Switzerland but never been.
